Bad Times AI face looks weird? How to fix it

Usually it's the photo: a small or turned face, sunglasses, a heavy filter or harsh light. The end of the trend puts your face right at the lens, so any doubt shows. Use one sharp, front-facing photo, and check the free picture of you at the lens before you film.

Why it happens

  • The close-up: for the last three seconds your face fills the screen. If the photo only shows it small, there isn't enough detail to keep it yours.
  • The photo: a turned head, sunglasses, a mask, a beauty filter or deep shadows leave the model guessing.

Fixes

  1. Use a sharp photo with your face big in the frame and facing the camera.
  2. Even light, no sunglasses, no filter.
  3. Look closely at the free picture of you at the lens. That's the hardest moment of the video. If it isn't you, change the photo before filming; it's still free.
  4. Pick HD (720p) for the full video; the extra detail shows when your face fills the screen.

Faces: questions

Will the full video look exactly like the preview?

No, not exactly. The full video is made again from the same photo, so small details can differ, but the same photo gives the same person.

Do I get my credits back if I don't like the face?

No. Credits come back when a video fails to generate, not when you don't like it. That's what the free picture and preview are for.

Check your photo with a free picture first.
