Get all 15 seconds in 9:16 with no watermark and the BAD TIMES sound, plus a silent copy for TikTok's own sound.
Before you upload
Photos that work
One clear face, facing the camera. Your face fills the screen at the end, so sharp beats wide.
Even light; no sunglasses, masks or heavy filters.
Waist up or more if you want your outfit in it.
Only people who agreed to be in the video.
Good to know
The free preview is the first 4 seconds. The full video is made again from the same photo, so small details can differ.
One adult or one pet (a dog or cat): no children or babies.
The kitchen is always the one from the original, not your own room.
Photos of celebrities and other public figures aren't allowed.
A video that fails to generate gives its credits back; one you don't like doesn't.
You can also try an AI video app or a CapCut template. Here is what each way gets you.

It is the TikTok trend built on Imael Angel's "BAD TIMES": someone lip-syncs a full argument at the person holding the phone, then charges the lens. The take every AI version copies is a French creator's kitchen argument from September 9, 2026, with 22 million views. Since October 1 people use AI to put anyone into it.
Who sings BAD TIMES, and is it an AI song?
Imael Angel, the stage name of Bernadett Gángó, a Hungarian Reiki master in England. And yes, it is an AI song: she writes the lyrics and turns them into songs with AI tools. "BAD TIMES" came out on March 30, 2026 and topped Shazam's global chart in October. The trend adds a second kind of AI: people put themselves into the argument from a photo. We have no connection to the artist.
What is the angry dance filter?
Another name for the same trend. Some TikTok accounts, many of them Spanish-speaking ("filtro baile enojado"), tag their Bad Times AI videos "angry dance filter". The videos are made with AI from a photo, like the ones here.
How do I make a Bad Times AI video?
Upload one photo of you and tap the button. In about a minute you see a picture of you right at the lens; say it's you and we film a free 4-second preview. If you like it, unlock the full 15-second video and download it. There is no prompt to write.
Is there a free Bad Times AI generator?
Yes. Every device gets one free preview in Standard (480p): a picture of you at the lens, then the first 4 seconds with a watermark, head in hands to hand on hip. The full video adds the "hold on" part, the charge at the camera and the finger in the lens.
Does the video include the BAD TIMES song?
Yes. Full videos come with the sound lined up the way the kitchen take uses it, and you can also download a silent MP4. To use TikTok's own sound instead, post the silent one and add "original sound - efnanbashar" from the start. The song belongs to its rights holders, and we grant no rights to it.
Is it filmed in my own room?
No. You are filmed in the kitchen from the original take, so it reads as the trend at a glance. Your face, hair and the clothes in your photo come with you.
Can I put my dog or cat in it?
Yes. Upload a photo of your pet and say it's a pet when we ask: your dog or cat stands up in the same kitchen and argues with its paws like hands, keeping its own head, fur and markings. Children and babies aren't offered.
What photos work best?
One clear face, facing the camera, evenly lit. Your face fills the screen at the end, so a sharp face matters more than the background. Waist up or more shows your outfit. Avoid sunglasses, masks, heavy filters and tiny faces in wide shots. JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 25 MB.
Why doesn't my video look like me?
Usually it's the photo: a small face, a turned head, sunglasses, a filter or harsh light. Use one sharp, front-facing photo. The free preview shows whether your photo works; the full video is made again from the same photo, so details can differ.
How long is the video and how fast is it made?
15 seconds, vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, in HD (720p) or Standard (480p), as an MP4 with no watermark. The free preview takes about 5 minutes and a full video usually takes a few minutes. You can close the page; it waits for you under My videos.
How much does a Bad Times AI video cost?
The preview is free. A full video uses 100 credits in HD (720p) or 50 in Standard (480p). That works out to $3.33–$6.99 per HD video depending on the pack. Packs start at $6.99. There is no subscription and credits never expire.
Do I need a prompt or a CapCut template?
No. We already set up the shot, so there is nothing to write or install. You make the video in your browser, on a phone or a computer.
Can ChatGPT make a Bad Times AI video?
No. ChatGPT can describe the trend or write a prompt, but it doesn't make this video from your photo. Here you add a photo and get a free preview in about 5 minutes.
What happens if a video fails?
If a video doesn't generate (it stops with an error, not a result you don't like), its credits go back to your balance automatically. If your free preview fails, you can usually make it again.
How is the video made?
Seedance 2.0, an AI video model, makes every frame new from your photo. The moves, the camera and the timing follow the kitchen take; nothing is pasted onto an existing video. It is not a face swap.
What happens to my photo?
It is used only to make your video and is deleted automatically, with the videos, after 30 days. Only upload people who agreed to be in the video. Photos of celebrities, public figures and children are not allowed.
Do you use my photo to train AI?
No. Photos are used only to make your video, never to train AI models, shown on the site or sold, and they're deleted with the videos after 30 days.
Should I label my video as AI when I post it?
Yes. Turn on TikTok's AI-generated label, or the Reels and Shorts one: the person is real, the video is made with AI.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire and there is no subscription; packs start at $6.99.
Is this affiliated with Imael Angel or TikTok?
No. Bad Times AI Dance is an independent tool, not affiliated with Imael Angel, TikTok, CapCut or the people in the original videos.
